My friend who is 16 years of age
just got caught riding a mini moto down the road
the police piled on him
and gave him 6 points and hes not aloud to drive till he is 18
surely this cant be right?
ive seen people riding them and having the police take it off them and that is that

surley 6 points is a bit much?
anybody kno0w any of the laws??

riding a motorcycle without a licence, insurance tax and mot. 6 points and a 24 month ban is about right. id have expected a £250 fine too.

Any fuel powered motorcycle must be taxed, mot'd and insured if its used on a public highway. caught on one without any of those and expect the same punishment as if it were in a car or on a real bike

Deserves more tbh. Illegal drivers piss me off. If I have to spend thousands per year taxing and insuring my vehicles then so should he.

Hope it was taken off him and crushed too.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

yeah 6 points and a ban, possible fine too.

we had one and took it to a field down the lanes near me. was good fun until i fell off going 30-35mph

If you or I were to jump in a car uninsured and without a license, we'd get exactly the same treatment. Unlucky to the wee scrote.
