Not cheap when you look at it first off but you will struggle to find anything for under £150 that offers the same level of light and 12 hours of battery life

Not changed that much tbh
Got the halfords steed because I used to work there and quite like the geometry.
I have changed
Crank set (fsa ones snapped) to shimano hollowtec SLX ones
Brakes to hayes hfx disks
wheel set changed to hope pro 2's on DT swiss 4.1 rims
Forks to rock shock SID's
Other then that just wear and tear things
Want to start shaving weight soon but tbh it does everything I need so dont really need to change it.

I have a Kona Blast Deluxe, its not all that fancy but it takes a hell of a lot of abuse and keeps working

Anyone got any recomendations for mtb tyres?
I have been runing conti moutain kings. Ace dry tyre but clog up abit in the wet and mud so am thinking of a change for winter

maxxii's are a very good brand specially for trail bikes irc

Have maxxis high rollers on the trials rig. Did wonder about the smaller sizes for the xc rig but hadnt heard much on em

yea i had creepy crawlers on my old trials, maxxiis do a tyre for every size and use on bikes i think

Fast traks would SUCK in the wet!!!
Get some Panaracer Fire XC tyres, with out a doubt THE best tyre i've used in the wet, work well dry, wet, and wet sand too!

I had these back in the day. Only down side was I found the profile a bit square

Some very nice bikes on here
I just have a standard '09 Specialized Hardrock Sport but it does me for getting about and the odd commute.
Doing the "Pedal For Scotland" Glasgow to Edinburgh charity cycle on it next weekend. Should be fun!
