Not that I would or anything but there is a cool 1.6 Clio for sale at a garage near me and it has the Clio 172 2.0 16v silver side bits on the bump strip........is it legal to do this? make your car out to be better than it is?

i badged my corsa sport 1.6 as a 1.0 sting had a few laughs at the traffic lights lol

My bro is gonna be badging his 2.0 16v Nova up as
"Nova 1.3 SR?"
which shud b quite good to watch at the lights.

Yeah seen a few people who have done it.
There is a Green Corsa at Chesterfield college, has 2.0 16V badges on it but I doubt it actually is.

I know of a few people who left 1.4 16v n 1.2 16v who have 2.0litres in them 
Also someone who has 2.0litre badges on a 1.6 16v.

There is a lad near me with a 1.6GTE nova with 150+ bhp and he has stuck 1.2 badges on it - he embarassed me anyway!!!

when i get my 2.0 engine for my corsa im leavin my 1.2 badge on there then when i race people will think wat the fuk is going on

I can really understand why folks "under-rate" their cars via badges e.g. a 2.0l with 1.0l 12V badges
but as to why folk "over-rate" them --- i havent a clue! e.g. a 1.2 8V with 1.6 badges.

by law you can get done for hiding the vehicals identity
i know someone who got done for opel badges on a corsa
very very rare tho if u get done
