well im looking at a new car as a cheap run around for 6 months or so,
been looking at saxo's i know a fwew of you have had and still have them, whats the diff in vtr vts aparet from insurance groups?
im looking at vtr mainly as its in my budget what are they like?

1.6 8v vtr 100bhp (i think)
1.6 16v vts 118bhp

8v 98bhp in the vtr, 16v 120bhp in the vts. i had a vtr for a while which ive now put a 16v engine in, the 16v is much much better its faster and more fun to drive

16v is the only saxo you should get.

8v is within my budget both to buy and insure though, as i say its only for about 6 months till iv paid my other car off and got rid of it..cheers guys

16v's arent much dearer, can find an older VTS cheaper than a newer 8v anyway.

plus the older shape looks much nicer IMO
VTR's fucking SUCK
vts all the way, I couldn't own a saxo unless it was 16v
