The Argie Bargie's got rinsed, I loved the look on Maradonna's face as Fabiano netted his second.

Out of intrest Nath, how do you or anyone for that matter get from A to B in MK. There is a roundabout every 300 yards FFS.
Also, everywhere looks exactly the same. You can't tell if a buliding is an office or a shopping centre. Is it just like that on the out-skirts, or is the town centre the same?

TBH mate once you get used to it it's actually easier than anything else I've come across. All the roads are either H roads (Horizontal) or V roads (Vertical), and thats how the grid is made up. Plus they are numbered. I live on the V8 for example.
The town centre doesn't have much of an identity, hence why they built the big ski-dome and the theatre. To try and mix it up a bit. Because the Shopping Centre, the Train Station, and alot of the offices look the same.
Outside of the Centre there's alot of greenery and it's actually a nice place to live.

Well it wound us up on't mini bus trying to get to the ground
I noticed all them road signs with the weird names. I'm guessing they copied the American style of road system when building it as thats how it is out there in most citys.
Saw some pretty nice houses mind, most with like you say man made lakes and greenery around them. Might just be me but it all seemed a bit "movie set" if you get me. Place didn't seem to have much character (although that is understandable being a new settlement an all)

Especially as the ground falls on Bletchley borders. That won't help an outsider.
Yeah it's an American thing.

I hope they do it up, spent loads making it 50k and then England dont get the WC and they have have a massive stadium to run that will never ever fill and end up going bust.

First problem being that MK isn't actually a city
And can you imagine the TV coverage as the pan round the stadium and Ikea comes into shot, what an embarrasment
