I have a samsung n110 (upgraded nc10), has been working fine for the past 2 weeks. However, last night as i was browsing away, it did an auto update. I restarted, logged in, but thats all it does?! loads my desktop wallpaper and a cursor but nothing else! No task bar, no icons etc. I can ctr alt del to get to task manager etc so its not locked up. Just wont load me desktop :/

run task manager
go to File -> New Task (Run...)
Type in 'explorer' without the quotes, press return and tell me what happens.

i tried that last night. It didnt do anything. Whirrred a lil and the HDD light flashed, but then nothing happened. :/
unffortunatly me laptops at home and im at work atm

well now its fixed its self. just turned it on and it came stright on fine.....stupid updates!
