Well last night I decided to dust off my Steam account and install Counter Strike (1.6) after 4 or 5 years. I used to love it and it brought backa few memories, logging onto IRC, organising 'clan' matches and all sorts 
Anyone else got a copy of eitheir 1.6 or Source and fancy a game at some point this week?

I cant even remember my steam ID, i played it for about 5 years, played for some top clans in the day too. from CS 1.3 till Source came into play, Then i grew up.

they were shit, you'd spend 20/30mins trying to get to the top and then fall off 
Although there were some pretty cool custom maps about. Saying that, i haven't played CS/TM since i've had COD4, plus they really screwed the hitboxes in CS:Source as it was a piece of piss to get headshots - 1.6 was were it was at

Nah not vac, ED (Enemy Down) Was a little geek in the top leagues etc. Got banned due to a disagreement with one of the owners iirc.

ED fell apart because of this TNWA lark that most of the CSS admins did not agree with - passing on of data for money being one of the rumours
