I have recently noticed that my subs were acting up, been playing round with the phono leads tonight i have discovered that only one phono is powering both subs in Mono ( I think thats right ).
Pulled the dvd headunit out and and swapped the phonos around and to make sure the leads are not faulty. So it seems to me like one of the phono outputs is dead at the back of my headunit
Has anyone else had this problem or maybe tell me different ?
Thanks.

try doing a simple reset by taking the powerlead out and then back in,
if that fails your headunit is no good anymore for its preouts
you could send it back to the company you bought it from, but that mostly costs more to get a radio repaired than the radio is worth

You will find this is normal behaviour - alot of stereos just pump everything out through one phono when the headunit preout is set to Sub.
Can you change the preout to become something else? You should find the other phono comes to life then. What problem you having with your subs?

Richie,
I understand that some Mono blocks run off 1 channel but im 99% sure that both phono's used to work. It just seems like i have lost some bass.
The subs seem not to produce much bass when the headunit is turned down, seems like you have to crank the system up to get average bass. It was deffo alot bassier before.
