What would you say is the best block head combo, X16XEL block (MK3 Astra block) with a C16XE head, or C16XE block with X16XEL head.
I'm going to be using the X16XEL block and C16XE head but I have been told the other way round is best, yet a while back I was told the set up I'm going for is the better one (was actually on this site I was told that)

C16XE engine with X16XE management so you can bin the AFM.

I was told the X16XE management was a good one, but I'm going with the X16XEL block was told it was stronger and it stuck in my mind so now I don't really want to change it as if anything go's wrong then I'll be thinking "why the fuck did I change it" so I'm sticking with my plan  binning the AFM sounds good anyway, will I be able to do this with the setup I'm going for?
