Anybody had this done?
Got a swollen lymph node (not that big) and they're doing a biopsy on it.
Does it hurt? Tbh I know absolutely nothing about what it is
Getting it done in London on Monday.

As long as there's a long winded metaphor involved, I hope so

I had something wrong with my lymph node in my neck. Had to have an ultrasound on it which was ok, and they also tried to take some fluid.
I'm totally fine with needles and wasn't fazed in the slightest by them drawing fluid but randomly passed out anyway
Don't worry, you'll be fine

Yeah I had a lymph node removed from my neck after it went swollen and they biopsied it, needle tested it and ultrasounded me and found nothing untoward with it. Because it was inflamed they removed it to be sure to be sure. The operation was horrible but only because I wanted to be a man and have a local, which I regretted
Apart from a slight depression on my neck there's barely even a scar.

I've got a nice scar, everyone thinks I've been glassed
After the ultrasound they weren't sure what mine was. Can't remember what it was in the end, but they did frighten my parents by mentioning cancer

They have to I think. Did they talk of night sweats and a possibility of Hodgkins? Very minimal risk of that though and the easiest to treat too.
The ultrasound showed mine up as inflamed tissue as opposed to growth.

See mine was real painful which is why they took the bugger out, its common for teens to have swollen lymph glands apparently.

Mine wasn't at all painful. Just like a big bag of water under the skin (well, much denser than water, more like puss )
