Trying out different engine sizes of Corsa's
tried a 1.2 8v Corsa... got a quote third party fire and theft of just over 2k!
in a garage!!
wtf?

during the day parked on a secure car park
this is annoying.
Why so expensive?
I heard its cheaper to get a 1.4 corsa 8v, for the reasons I don't understand.

Location will play a big part, as will your line of work, how long you've been driving etc etc

Do a search on it, see how it rates. There is a list on here somewhere I think, see how bad the area is.

Sticky in help zone, I wouldn't go by what it says though.

Says mine is an E, my prices and prices swapping the postcode for one that list says is better say otherwise though.

I was assuming you were insured on something just now.

Apart from that do the usual, low mileage, parents on the policy, pay what it costs.

Parents on your policy is totally legit, won't affect them in any way and brings the price down.

Your dad as a main driver and you named will bring the price down massively but can cause problems.

Insurance companies are clamping down on this and if you crash it's his no claims you lose.
