Is that really what you'd class as Hip Hop? Sounds like the intro to a Rave tune with a spastic trying to rap over the top

WTFf! American Hip Hop and Uk Hip Hop are so different!

You cant even compare them. There are so many talented Uk artists, many under the age of 25, they rival many many many American artists.

I cant believe you just compared Sway to Nas

Roots mauva and Black twang would be the only ones I would personally class as hip hop from the Uk, I don't listen to hardly anything as most of the Uk so called hip hop sounds cheap and commercial, sounds like chavs GET ME.

No one rivals The Rza or Gza for lyrics
I'll stick with some Krs One.

I think that Klashnekoff is borderline for me, needs more samples and some variety.
The music I've heard has sounded very similar to lots of his tracks and his a bit too monotone for me.

Are Gunshot still about these days? Just been listening to Twilights Last Gleaming and forgot what a fantastic album it is. Also Hijack and Silver Bullet were awesone in their day.

As for more recent UK Artists, I'd go for the likes of Root Manuva, Phi Life Cypher, Ty and Task Force.

Here's a link to a couple of mates of mine who have had a little bit of success around Europe:

Havent listened to Task Force in a good 3 years! Used to quite like them, might have a look for a few recent stuff. I tend to listen to more bassline nowdays so not that up to date with the hiphop scene.
