MOT: Induction kit & Emissions?

My car goes in for it's first mot on monday! Does having an induction kit fitted effect the emissions? i.e Does it run higher or lower?

hey there joker boy, got well excited then thought there was going to be some tasty pix of some ladies.....ha!
induction kit makes no difference to emissions at all mate just feeds in more air to the engine......no more nasty jokes lol

Thought with the extra airflow that it might increase the emissions as there's consequently more fuel being burned.
