I would aim a little higher on the budget, I had my Corsa on Spax Shocks and Springs at 40mm and it was perfect.

Wouldn't bother with cheap branded Coilovers - pay cheap, pay twice.

Eibach and Koni's FSD shocks are meant to be a good combo!

I'm going for Weitec Shocks & Springs setup for my Cupra Turbo

Bought 60mm set, springs at rear looked more like 30mm, fronts loooked like 80mm. Squeaking from front and rear from day one, rear i managed to sort out by using standard bumpstops fronts were fucked... (slow speed squeaking only at front)... shocks eventually went on the front and im looking for news ones now

Was this set brand new from a trader or second hand.

You only fitting Springs was your problem imo

I bought a set of gmax 60mm spring and damper set brand new but second hand for £80 and i have had no problems a year on. perfect for a corsa, it will never drive like a golf anyway

My Apex kit came to about £240 delivered, may as well spend the extra £40 if you can tbh.

I had 60mm springs on standard shocks with an XE up front and it was ok.Wasnt the best, but certainly was'nt bad enough to make me hate the car.Fired some Koni adjustable shocks on the front a while later and they were better, but not out of this world of a difference.

£200 will get u a set-up that your happy with if you were happy with your previous set-up.

Decent suspension does help, but the cheaper stuff just means you've gotta work that wee bit harder and keep on the ball when going for a bit back road blasting.

Really don't know why anyone hasn't suggested Bilstien yellows....

Good enough for budget rally teams (fixed strut), and proven exceptionally improved handling on XE corsas...

But morelike £300+, but worth it. Far superior to say budget FK coilovers, which are awful..h
