alright, i have got my hands on some laser cut flanges in mild steel to make my own powerbox for a nova rally car with x14xe fitted.

i need to order up some materials soon so i want to look at as many others as i can first for things like diameters/lengths of vac fittings etc

photos of the bare box before fitting would be ideal but on car close ups are good too.

also are there any common problems with the replicas that i can try and work around? ive heard of them crushing under the bolts and leaking so i will have crush tubes welded in, will the bolts seal themselves or do i need to weld the crush tubes all the way round to stop leaks??

thanks. kenny.

Id fit crush tubes inside, as the pressure of the bolt heads do tend to start bending the box.
I also used fibre washers under the bolt heads on mine.
