i was thinking of getting some 15" astra gls alloys for my corsa and i was thinking of putting low profile tyres on like 195/45/15's but will this make the ride unbareable as i do alot of motorway miles.
also are low profile tyres as good grip and hanlding as 55 or 60 profile??
cheers guys.

Better handling/grip out of low profile tyres, less prone the wall folding etc.
I personally don't think you'll feel 195/45's being unbarable.

I had 195/45/15 goodyears on my gsi
Plenty comfy enough for cruising around in but firmer then standard.
Could get a 50 profile but they are a bit chunky if you are lowered as well
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

I have the Astra GLS wheels with 195/45/15's on. The ride isn't harsh at all and it corners really well. I have Federal's on and their spot on!
