Whats the craic with this? A buyer raised a dispute a month ago about a ticket she hasn't received (I've yet to receive it eiother, MJ ticket!) but the dispute says its closed cos it was raised over 45 days after the end of the auction. I 'm happy to refund her but I'm not sending the full amount and losing out on the fees etc. that I was already charged, how do I do this properly?

Did your auction state that the ticket was coming directly from a third party or from you?

I also specified no time limit, just suggested that tickets were expected in August 9they were, and I've prived my buyers with the e-mail from the ticket company)

Well I think you will need to refund her in full and absorb any auction related fees yourself.

I think you have up to 60 days to do a PayPal refund (so you don't pay any PayPal fees for receiving the money in the first place).

I'm not sure if you can get a credit on the eBay fees too though - you'd have to check.

Did you auction state a returns policy of some sort? i.e. "if I don't receive the tickets by <whatever date> then you can have a refund"?

Nope! Total fees for this were well over £20 too so I'm not refunding until such time as I can sort this!

£125 Thats crazy man!!!

TBH I think you really should be refunding if its not turned up, think if you were the buyer!! Bad enough thinking youve paid £125 for a scribble of paper but now even worse 125 big yins for feck all!!

Just refund the £125 & forget the fee's.......................its not as if your not loaded anyway Orbob
