im going to do an c20xe conversion on my gsi and i was wondering what people think about getting rid of the power steering and fitting a normal rack

what are peoples thoughts or experiances

i did this, i just bung'd up the pipes. I found it better at speed, very very heavy for parking.

Why do you want to take the power stearing off for.. I think its daft wanting to remove something for they sake of a few kg..

Cause it's very twitchy and shit at high speed

140mph and never had a problem with my xe'd GSi and that had pas, if its twitch at high speeds id look at the suspension set up fella as mine had its geometry all done before i baught it

i had pas on my xe gsi and am fitting it on my sport just now, just need to get the pipes sorted so it fits a bit better, i think its better with the pas you get more fell when driving

i didnt hav pas on my xe corsa for a few months, got it all set up last week and its soooo much better now woildnt go bak to not havin it!
