Basically my manifold downpipe bolts are rusted and won't budge. I have soaked them in WD40 but no avail. any ideas? bear in mind there is not much room for movement on a 1.6 sport

I've never removed these successfully. Always snapped them and had to drill out the upper half of manifold.
Try running the engine for 15mins and warm it right up could help

use a single hex socket to make sure you dont chew them any more then they are, try and have the engine warm then spray them with wd40 so it penitrates better and if in doubt hammer a smaller socket on
