Well how about this.. My mate I used to get all of my Lotus Carlton parts from (he used to break them up) was offered a Phase1 V6 from a Repo company he has a contract with just a couple of days ago... So fingers crossed its still there!

I would say do it. Its only shit when people keep the 1.2 up front, and rip around with the v6 kit, on 185, 65, r14
