when carlisle flooded a few years ago the police station was under water and so was half the city in places. was mental. feel sorry for anyone thats got major property or business damage as its not exactly something you can prepare for

true to a certain extent. although i know people that were without a home for a year or so due to the flood damge. i mean insurance doesnt prepare for you to have to move away and start all over

Been a a nightmare here today, been out all day picking up the cars/boats that thought they could drive through rivers.. One part of the road we were on had 13 cars all with hydrauliced engines waiting to be picked up.
