Just had a woman phone up (Gamestation) to order some games for her son. She just kept on reeling off more game titles, mainly Warhammer and Star Wars games.
She also wanted some Game Boy Advance games Which I couldn't find.
Total of 10 PC games came to £150
She said it was an annual thing, and that some of the games he'd owner before

People are pathetic.
I had to copy my games from friends copys on the Amiga, I got a new game every year at Xmas, £39.99 for Monkey Island 2 in the early 90's was stretching my luck.

Remember this feeling, Older brother and myself would ask for a NES game for christmas, £45 or so, would get it and play it all day !
Nowadays the little brother (considerably younger than us) expects games throughout the year and the newest console at christmas Takes everything for granted !!
I think its just become so much of every day life now that people don't think as much of it !

Mum's mate has a little twat (well he's 16 but still), she's on disability and her husband doesn't work
(so not minted by any means), 'twat' has had 2 PSPs (threw his first one in a paddy and then sold the second), a 360 with almost every recent shooter/driving game and is now expecting a PS3, instead he's getting a Wii with various games, as PART of his xmas presents.

Same, parents didn't allow games consoles in the house nor would they buy me games. Although they did get me and my bro a BBC Micro and a Atari (had a number of them over the years), and i was given a PC by the time i was 10

Are you for real? It was awesome in 1992, I'm talking about the Amiga original not the later PC version.
I think with the graphics not being so good you had to use your imagination, something lacking in kids these days.

true, this is ridiculous. one day me and my boss were in currys looking at games when 2 young kids (proably about 8/9) were in there looking at Nintendo DS's. one of them saying how he had a white one, and a red one and he was getting the green one for his birthday why do you need 3 DS's in different colours? mental. the parents are just as retarded IMO
