It's worth £450 all day long, even if you just bought it to swap into another shell.

The engine is from a Vectra SRi 140. You can hardly assume the engine hasn't been looked after because the shell is tatty when it came from a completely different car!

I'd have it. Take the engine out, put in my car, strip the rest for parts to get back what you can (not much probably).

The front seats don't look like Corsa items either by the pics. They might be worth swapping over aswell.

despite the fact it looks like a heap of shit, that could be a bit of a laugh, and a decent project maybe if you had a tidy shell

Why did you think it was a redtop when the title of this thread and the title and description of the ebay advert state that it has a 2.0 ecotec engine, not a redtop.

The photos clearly show that it's not a redtop engine.

If that's not enough the lad actually says that the engine came from a 2000 Vectra and a vectra newer had a redtop engine.

The lad would have ended the auction early for £450. I'd have bought it aswell.
