Tried to superglue my new opel badge to my boot lock.

problem is went to pt it onto the boot lock and it slipped and the contents that was on the badge slipped down the boot lock makeing the boot lock white from the contents sticking in place, so instead of it being the same colour around the biit were the existing badge used to be it is now whiteish

would i be easier ..

a) buying a new boot surround
b) re spraying it black
c) use tar remover if it will work and then re stick it?

if a or b people is it easy to get the boot surround on and off?

thanks in advance, callum

A new bootlock surround from the scrappies will probably be cheaper than a bottle of tar and glue remover.

And once tar and glue remover is used you wont get glue to stuick to it again.
