hi ppls....wen i 1st got my corsa (about 8months ago) the orange engine management light on my dash board lighted up just once...and it never happend again so i didnt worry (especially as the car was allways runin fine, and still does)...
...but recently iv just ad a superchip and Velos torque tube fitted to my car... and the car drives great...but wen i go on the motorway/dual carrageway and im putin my foot down, sumtimes the engine management light will come on, but the car still drives absolutely fine!? and wen i turn the car off and next start it up, the light doesnt come on...this makes me think its a dodgy connection (especially as there r now quite a few wires infront of my torque tube/just over the engine where the rocker cover used to be), or maybe wen i put my foot down coz of the new chip/inlet manifold the ecu reads a fault such as its over fuelling? i dont know.
iv checked this site out from another thread...should i try and do this?

i just wanted to ask u guys and try and sort it out myself before askin the guy who chipped/fitted my torque tube.

hello mate, mine is doin exactly the same, iv been told best off goin top the dealer, or maybe in ur case the guy who did it.
not a clue what it could be as iv no engine mods!

thing is whether the lights on or off the car drives the same!!!
i may use the site in my message above to find out wat the fault is? i know that Rally Tec (who did my mods) av a diagnostics (spellin! lol) thingy to check cars...so i may just phone him wen i get a chance...
