Anyone recommend any? Ive tried so many different ones now and they all fail one way or another (fall out when running, painfull to wear longer than 2mins, sound crap, etc)

Agreed, well kind of. Ive got the CX500 and they are a really snug fit without being uncomfortable over long periods.

Ive also got some Skullcandy Full metals but they are next to impossible to wear whilst working out imo.

i have skull candy in ear-phones and they are a bit of a pain staying in if you don't like the feeling of a tight earphone lead.

skullycandy full metal jackets - block out all other sound.

you can pick the 11mm driver ones up for as little as £20 now, when i first bought mine they were £50! iv got both them and the sennheiser cx's. the sennheisers hit higher treble but skullcandy's bass is awesome.

youl find them cheapest on google shopping

the skullcandy are crap for working out in through, in my experience the sennheisers are much better.

why do you find that cosmos?

i use mine atleast 3 times a week, ok maybe the lead is a bit long for the shorter person but i cant complain other then that?

I find they dont sit perfectly when Im workout out - had a mess about with the various sized buds but just cant get them right, the wire banging about on them also causes some dodgey sound. I love them more than my CX500's but just for working out they arent as good imo.

Got a pair of >Klipsch Custom 1's<, pretty good in-ears, block out surrounding ambient noise/sounds (with music playing you really can't hear anything) and would say they are in the league of IE6s although they are extremely snug in the ear canal (good for workouts though, plus the lead comes out the back so you can feed them down the back of your top etc) and you have to drive them to get the bottom end to come out (increase the load on the source output using resistors, or in my case just added load to the output on my portable cmoy headphone amp).

honestly mate, id say for £20, try the skull candy FMJ's
