i heard that you cant fit coilovers with cav slabs but im not sure if this is true? can any one help me out

you can fit coilovers with any wheels just might need to use some spacers

with any vauxhall alloys (et49 offset)

5mm spacers are needed at the most, if non at all..

i fitted 5mm spacers with softstars and cesaros, just because the adjusters on the coilovers are a little close for comfort..

Depends, whoever told you could have been running daft tyres that caught on them?

If you use sensible tyres you will be fine.

whats the best coilovers to get??

want to be lowered abt 70-80mm all round??

with out banging rubbing tyres off etc..
