just wondering what sorta camera do you need to take these really good night shots you see like in clubs, or cars at night? can you get a decent budget cam that will do these?
feel free to post your night shots btw  i was inspired by a couple off scoobynet
i know these were done with a Lumix TZ3 which can be had for £180 ish, not bad?

A sturdy tripod is a must tbh, but any camera really with some control over settings will get you decent pics if you know how to use it.

For the top photo, as matt said a decent sturday tripod is needed. Also any camera where you can adjust exposure times will give you this effect, however dont expect to get that on the first shot !
