DC2 supposedly vary, JDM ones are 200bhp with a 0-60 of 6.2, where the UK ones are 190bhp with a 0-60 of 6.5 apparently

ive got an s2000, honda claim 237 bhp and 0-60 in 6.2. Other owners claim a faster 0-60 time than that - some recorded below 6 using proper timing gear

10bhp more but most weigh less because of lack of ABS, airbags, aircon, alarm etc etc. the "base" version is about 80kgs lighter than the fully loaded ones that have all the above.

i say "base" because i think some of them were delete options to make them lighter as oppose to people skimping on cost. theres other crazy things that were delete options like stereo and rear wiper on the JDM ones too i think. the UK ones came with a minimum of ABS and SRS*

*i'm not sure on that, but i'm fairly certain thats the case unless anyone wants to correct it

Im considering a teg for my next car, not sure which one I should be looking at getting though... Also most seem to be quite high mileage. I can stretch to about 4.3k, they average around 90k. Whats TOO high of a mileage on one would you say?

I dont think its as simple as that. The JDM will be mapped to run on the higher octane fuel and im sure the exhaust system has a slightly bigger bore.

The exhaust is usually the 1st thing the UK owners change to get them up to JDM power.

deffo not standard its revving too high i reckon

heres a standard UK one i found
Integra

as for the higher octane who knows, all i know is mine made 188bhp (book figure) on 95ron and is completely standard. apparently the exhaust makes the bigger difference, upgrading it to a 2.5" bore from the standard 2.25" is "supposed" to even things out
