do i have to use a bore hone on the bores or will it be ok? they dont look scored or anything

if they are smooth - they will need it for sure.

I'd recommend doing it as a mater of routine. It will help the rings bed in and hopefully create a nice seal

As AK says the hone marks are what wear the piston rings in to the bore.. You should always have a bore honed when fitting new rings.

DaveyLC,, did u do the 1800 conversion yourself?
