Dougie at Vauxhall was involved in the testing for the Nurburgring Astra at Beford for one of the magazines and it was fine for the drive by and the exhaust isn't exactly quiet.

Yer

Or I might get one of those kits that AK was selling.

As my camera isnt too good for it as its mini DV and the tape isnt too found off all the vibrations and gets glitches in it

It's cos it's so close to so many villages that the noise is that low!

My girlfriend parents live about a mile from it and u can hear it alot, it's pretty much each day but then again they do offer the local people a few days a year that get to go and drive stuff round there for very cheap, last time a half day event was £80 and u could drove anything but the small race cars. So they do get something back!

Wish Santa pod would offer that to me with the amount of times I have herd the jet car go up this year!

Gav the camera AK offers is very good. But you need a mechanical mount for MSV days. I couldn't film at my Brands Trackday as they didn't allow suction cups

they come with solid mounts about 4 different elbows too. I've never used mine with the suction mount.
