I gotta renew my insurance soon... when I was 17 I got a quote from CIS for £1700 fully comp and they said it'd be £1500 if I did my pass plus...

Today my mum did a quote on CIS as 18, with pass plus and they said £2280! thats with the supposed '35%' discount from pass plus!

so another words they're saying its gone from £1700 to like £2900???

I haven't had any convictions or anything, not made any claims or had any accidents... Been driving for about a year!

WTF?!

Tesco's quoted me £1500 fully comp today, but arn't they swines about mods...

Oh shit there goes any chances of getting my car sorted by say summer... I'm probably gonna be in debt for the whole year... half a year paying my mum back for (if she initially pays for the insurance - she wants tesco's points hehe) then half a year saving up for next year hehe...

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!

BASTARDS!

I wouldn't mind if it was a fast car, but its only a 1.2 16v SXI! 1999! Corsa B

Nah ring em up mate, the online thing is only really for an idea, not too accurate.

Can work well and give you a really low quote and you can buy it there and then but most of the time its too high.

Tesco over the phone were £150 cheaper than on the net.
