Been offered a redtop conversion. How much is the engine worth and how do I know how good the engine is? How much for rebuild etc? Not sure of the parts but its full conversion.

Rebuild will be around £300-500 depending what you need

a good engine, box and loom will cost anything between 200 & 400+ pounds to have it fitted you will need to but a coversion kit, and the labour to fit it all would be roughly 300 or more

depends i know of 2 full conversions for £350 a piece just now

plus all the shafts, brakes, exhaust? that will all add to the cost

Sean-B, conversions as in the engines and fitting not the full cars, both are unfinished projects that are being broken

u2u if want prices for parts for a rebuild and price for rebuild if dont want to do it yourself or cant find anyone good local.
