Bit of a general question but whats the norm these days for courtesy cars at dealers?

Astra has an engine noise that sounds like it could be a timing belt tensioner/pulley on its way out so going to have to get it down to Vauxhall on Monday.

Just wondering if you have to pay for courtesy cars in most places or if there available then there free??

Bloody so called reliable cars..

£10 for a car at Fords when I took my sisters Ka in.

Vauxhall gave me a HIDEOUS signwritten Meriva. That was free - but left in the car park all day.

VW will give a free one if they have one...

Think it depends on the dealer

We usually give them one free, although they have to pay the fuel before they bring it back as our cars go out with a full tank.

Ah well seams a bit hit or miss depending on the dealer. I couldn't care less what it is, just so my other half can get to work.

Might phone up and see how much a basic hire car will cost if it comes to it.

Peugeot are really good. Had a total of four 207s off them when i've had mine serviced and the rad replaced.

Didn't charge me a penny for the use of them.
