i got the frame and forks off my bro, brand new 1984 aero reflex, then got new skyway tuff 2's with tyres off ebay.

nos winn cw style handlebars, nos ktt pedals, nos tuff neck chain ring, nos tuff style brake pads, nos dia compe brakes all off vert-ego bmx shop.

then oddysey laid back seat post, suntour style stem, suntour seat post, white dice valve caps, a'me grips, sr crank all off the forum on radbmx.

with the frame and forks being free, all in ive probably spent £200ish

this thread makes me want to finish my bmx off, ive got powdercoated matt white wheels but i dont want to use brakes that will remove the paint and i need to get the frame powdercoated. grr bad thread

Still bloody good for a build of that standard and vintage.

It's tasteful yet a headturner with it.

It would be quite easy to spend significantly more than that and end up with a fairly mundane looking bit of kit.

i ride bmx , not been ridin alot recently tho with all this shit weather , plus not alot of indoor parks around here, have to travel quite far in winter to ride a good indoor park
