Again, why?

Can people not see whats right infront of them?

You'd be dead in the corsa but, as the 5th gear test shows and says, you'd be fine because the passenger compartment stays intact.

That's not all that safe. If you watch a few of the videos for 4x4's with very rigid chassis you'll see that the heads of the dummies quite often get ripped off because none of the energy is absorbed by the limited crumple zone. Therefore all the energy is transmitted into the cabin giving you serious neck injuries and causing you to submarine under your lap strap causing your back to bend the wrong way.

edit: ahhh shit someones posted it, but id much rather be in the corsa, the corsa absorbes the crash, whereas the smart car becuase of the steel cage, the car doesnt crumple but you would

Christ, I was hit by a land rover at around 5 mph in my yellow XSI, threw me into the crash barrier that did all the damage, ripped the entire drivers wheel etc, not good.

Loved that car, pitty peugeots are not very crash proof
