Ive been given a boss 600 watt amp and am wanting to power a 10' sony explod sub rated at 300 rms has anyone used these amps and is mign good enough to power it.

Yeah should be OK.
I had a Boss amp, 2 x 250w running 2 x 10" subs, dunno what the sub rating was. Kicked pretty well.
The new Boss audio kit is better though, much better. Its elatively cheap and does the job alright.
But I am moving onto a Alpine MRDM300 amp and Type R 10" sub because my other setup was killed in a car accident,

my mates RCA leads melted on his boss amp. Personally save some extra cash and buy alpine / rockford etc
