rear fog lights,
now i always thought that when the visability was pretty bad you turned your fogs on to give cars coming up behind you more chance to see you due to the poor weather, once the car was say 40 metres behind and you knew was aware of your presence you switched your fog off and the car behind kept those on and so it continues down the line as cars catch up, but this must be wrong as....
today it has been very foggy near me, every car has trundled along at 30-35mph on a pretty straight A road with fog lights blazing as i approach, i know fogs arent massively bright but it annoys me that they dont turn them off as it takes your focus away from the road i find. a few little flashes of full beam ends up with the brake lights flashing and a nice v sign from the driver in front. twats. this seems typical of most drivers so i must be wrong

I never use them as I live in fear of recieving a fine because I drive through a part where there is no fog but the light is on.

Well when you live near a busy city like York you can only go with the flow so i wasnt going slow. I also get to check the lights as Ibiza's are terrible with the front lights and condensation but i only get it when i wash my car. So i obviously leave the lights on to dry the condensation up

you use them when you cannot see 100 meters ahead of you due to fog. I've never heard of turning them off when a car is behind you tbh they're hardly bright at all, the brake lights of some new cars are dazzling when you're in traffic behind them and the retard doesn't know what a clutch is or a handbrake. surprised they're legal
