Who has them?
I have a set now, for my cabon bonnet (that i don't have yet, picking it up on 19th).
I thought, yeh, easy, drill it, screw it, fit it, sorted.
Now i have them, and even after reading the instructions, i'm a bit scared!
Where do you start?
Fitting the pin to the slam panel, or the catch to the bonnet?
Where abouts on the bonnet do you fit them / how do you know you have the slam panel and bonnet catch in line?
Anyone want to do it for me
Pics of them fitted to the bonnet please? both inside & outside

if your scared of doing it yourself, take it to a professional, maybe your local bodyshop?

just measure and measure again...cut with a jigsaw and file the edges...then place them in and mark where the pins go.

Yes measure, measure and measure
There is a template in the pack wich you just line up with the pin.
So firstly install pins in slam
Mark where it comes through bonnet and dill hole.
Then using template drill out hole for aerocatch

Make sure you put them on the right way too!
Too many people put them on the wrong way up.
Very easy to fit, just take your time, measure 20 times and make sure they are right before you cut.
I used the lump on the front panel for the bolt/eye. That ends up with the thread wound all the way down to it's limit but it fits perfect. I also ran a parralel line up the bonnet for the centre line of the catch, so they don't fit dead straight/up but at just a slight angle. I can get some more photos during the day if you need any.

does it matter what way you fit them? mine are the 'wrong' way and i have no issues other than i find they get stuck from time to time but it wouldn't matter what way round they were this would still happen.

Yes it does the way the instructions said.
Its to do with the catch and how it works, if the catch isn't properly engaged and its fitted the wrong way round the wind can get underneath it and lift the catch up and you will then have a corner of the bonnet flapping around in the wind.
If you see what I mean.
And yes mine stick too, but a good dose of wd40 every now and again keeps them working freely.

well ill not worry to much about the wind getting under them but i see what you mean, they just seemed to look better the other way, i keep a small screwdriver handy for when the get stuck it works a treat to free them up.

Don't like the pin type ones, not heard of anyone having any bother with them, bar them sticking?
At least these are a bit more secure & dont look as tatty as pin ones do.
