Surely its easy enough to go to google, type photography forum, see that talkphotography is the first one, has a lot of members and is fairly active with people refreshing oftenly. Then it is equally easy to look through and see whether people review images or if its just millions of posts by people saying "look at these pictures" with no responses. I think your then able to make a fairly educated (maybe not in your case) guess whether or not the site would be worth joining.
How long till you open your own photography company then Will ?
