So, afew weeks ago something happened with my clutch; http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/engines-transmission/446020-whats-happened-my-clutch.html

As I had a spare afternoon I thought I'd have a go at getting the box out myself. Took 2 3/4 hours which to say I only had one trolley jack and was by myself I'm damned happy with.

..found the offending part:

Annoyingly it was a motor factors part, ah well - lesson learnt. I also found my crank sealing is leaking quite badly. A trip to Autovaux later and we have new flywheel bolts, crank seal and clutch release bearing.

Will be trying to get that lot back together over the next couple of days

This is now going to be broken for parts. It'll be stripped in 4-5weeks so look out for a for sale thread on MIGweb

Corsa managed to make its way to my new house under its own steam. My garage is only halfway to how I want it to be, but it was satisfactory to strip down the car.

TBs already sold. Expect a for sale thread later in the week once the shell has gone and I can get pics of all the parts Hope its been an enjoyable project thread

Not having a corsa again; too old for them now I reckon.

Sticking with vauxhall though
