Hi i been searching for a guide on how to do this conversion for weeks now. the discs and calipers i have got are off an Astra GTE and i have got a fitting kit from chris Ashley but struggling to find what handbrake cables to use so please if any one has one it would be appreciated i know this is my first post and i am asking for help cheers westy

according to mtec instructions you use an opel kadett gsi 16v part number gm 90 279 542

but i dont actually know

best way is to get the axle from the car the calipers are coming off, the mtec kit comes with guides for the cables that chris astley doesnt give you so ones it all on its a case of tightening the cable and its job done, if you get the axle you can remove the guides from it and fit them to your axle and save yourself some time, or go on lmf vauxhall and buy the mtec kit which is what i used

I may have made a mistake with the kit a have got it may be the mtec kit as it has the guides for the cables

if it is a mtec kit then what you need is a mk2 astra gte 16v handbrake cable, model with disc'd red axle
