I know its something small and picky but ive noticed that my number plates look really tacky on my car. Ive used screws in them and theyre on a metal holder thing.
Was wondering if theres other ways of attaching my number plate to make it look better and clean?

Also easier to steal though. Mine are just the new style font with the usual two screws- nowhere near theft proof but it puts the opportunists off.

hmm I've taken ones off with that double sided sticky foam stuff and it was pretty easy. It's just for the fact that if someone's walking past your car they don't need anything at all to be off with it. Not saying it's the wrong way to do it, just with all this stuff you hear about car cloning and people getting plates stolen I'd personally rather use screws.

Sticky pads/tape or silicone, I had to use silicone to get a metal one to stay on.
Some of the sticky stuff is a massive pain to get off, you damage the plates before the glue fails.

I made 4strips across the whole length of the plate - took me a good few minutes to get off to change (solvent degreased everywhere first so it stook like a mother fuc........
Had to get a screw driver and hammer it down like a chisel to get off. Would have been alot easier to get off if they were screwd on.
