Basically, i've got an Xsara VTR 1.8 16v sat about doing nothing thats got rear end damage, and i've got a newer saxo VTR. Wondered has anybody ever heard of Xsara VTR engines being put into saxo's? Also, are the brakes etc.. interchangeable? Cheers!!

After looking at the stats im not sure if it would be worth the effort, the engine as standard puts out 112 bhp where as saxo vts engine puts out 120

it would be alot of hassel. and not worth doing. like you said the vts engine is 120bhp standard and cams and a remap send it up to 140+bhp. there was a place advertised on saxperance that does the enigne transplant for you and they supply engine for about £900 i think.
