What difference would that have made?
You'd still be outlaying £100k per week or whatever. It'd only change how much he'd actually see of that.

Its called tax evasion Nathan 
Its not exactly legal to pay someone via a company unless the company is offering services to the club other than that of a normal employee - i.e. if it was also providing advice, attending to the pitch, etc. then fine.
