Got vouchers for argos and looking to get a lcd tv for the living room. want at least a 32" hd tv around the £300 mark. Seen this one but not sure if hitachi are any good i heard they are sometimes rebadged budget sets?

also is there much difference in quality between hd ready and full hd 1080dp sets?

Good price that, think it was on HUKD, considered it myself. Personally I can't tell hardly any difference between 720p/1080i & 1080p... I sold TVs for over a year and would often ask customers if they could tell the difference (I set two sets up next to each other) and no one ever could!

I would personally go for it, I trust Hitachi...
Every make's got their up and downsides. I've got a Samsung which looks great, but the sound is bloody awful! Fixed with a AE 2.1 system

i work for LG, for a 32" set your within budget for a nice 32 model. picture quality is fantastic and personally (not biast) i believe the sets to be better then the equivalent samsung models.
