Theres a slight whining sort of noise from the gearbox when i accelerate, seems to be louder in 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Doesnt go away when dipping clutch which takes me away from being clutch release bearing

Has anyone had any problems or come across this before??

Is there a recommended gearbox that can be fitted to the 1.6 engine that works well??

Prob your bearings mate, if its a light whine! It'll get louder fast!

Change the oil in the box for the winter etc, may help it out

Thats exactly what its sounding like gets louder sometimes and then sometimes its quiet Is changing box oil easy?? Never had to do it??
