My partners corsa gsi c16xe has snapped on the drivers side when she pulled off at the lights yesterday ive had a little look and its defenitly snapped is there any reasons why it would of done this or could it just be bad luck she's only had it 3days,also is this an easy job? Any tips welcome could really do with a little help on this i own 2 myself and have never experienced this problem?

Where abouts has it snapped? Cv joint gone and dried up more than likely??

In the cv joint will have a look tomorrow if it aint raining

Is there any difference between the c16 and the x16 i know the c16 has 22 spline but i dont know how many splines are on the x16

c16 ones are the stronger ones, i have them on my turbo and there fine you must just be unlucky

will have snapped where the circlip is which is the thinnest and weakest part of the shaft. can sometimes just happen really. friends 1litre corsa did it.

Yeah your right there the other bit still in the cv joint
