you might as well do it for how much a hone costs

and adam as far as just replacing the engine instead of honing the bores, it would still be advisable to hone the bores on the second hand engine before fitting new rings, so if the bore is okay on the first engine, why change it?

You have to go up and down quite fast about 1.5 strokes a second.
