hi im new to the forum thought id make a post, currently building an x14xe nova. have no idea why i went for that engine but seems to go well in my mates nova. but any info on my conversion and things will be great! one thing does anyone know what belt i can run once i de-ecotec my engine? or is the best way to follow it around once its been removed with abit of string and use a belt the same size? also whats the best way to get power out of these engines? at the moment i have a full s/s straight through going on and an induction kit, but unsure off what else to do? get the ecu flashed?
Thanks

welcome to the site. cheapest and best mod you can do to that engine is to get a inlet manifold

fail to see how doing any of that would be de-ecotec ing the engine, removeing the inlet manifold would be a start plus the air blower thing near the manifold
